Welcome MIGHTY Bullpups and Bullpup Parents! 
We have an exciting year ahead of us exploring many different topics in science including safety, ecology, earth science, weather & climate, chemistry, physics and space. We will work on a variety of activities such as critical reading and writing, laboratory activities utilizing individual and group work skills, creativity, problem solving, analytical skills and scientific reasoning. We are going to have FUN and WORK HARD while learning new things everyday!  I look forward to learning and growing together!

Hello Bullpups!  I am so sorry I cannot be with you today.  My son got sick last night and I will be taking him to the doctor today... poor baby... :(   Thank your for your understanding and I should be back to see your smiling faces tomorrow!  Please complete the assignment that I have posted online in the classes sections - you know where to go (but in case you forgot - go to my homepage - hey you’re here!, scroll until you see CLASSES. Click your appropriate class.  :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow!  Thanksgiving already!  Where does the time go?!  We have had a busy year so far learning about plate tectonics, topography, moon phases and so much more!  I am looking forward to what we get to learn next! 
I am so thankful for being able to work with the BEST kids at LPJ!  I wish you all a blessed, restful and safe thanksgiving break!

Watch the video on Continental Drift ( and use the Power Point below to answer the following  questions in your journal.  Write the question and answer. Show your teacher when you finish.

  2. Where was he born? 
  3. What did he discover?
  4. What is the theory of Continental Drift?
  5. What is the large landmass (all the continents joined together) called? 
  6. What are the 5 pieces of evidence that he gathered for his Continental Drift Theory? 
    • List out the 5 pieces of evidence
  7. What was the problem with his theory?
  8. What happened to Wegener?
