About Me

Hello!!! I'm Ms. Ray and I'm very excited to be teaching your student in 8th grade US History for the 2018-2019 school year. This is my 4th year at LPJH. I'm a graduate of La Porte. I have a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston- Downtown  and a Masters of Science  in Educational Management from UHCL. I am certified as a 4-8 generalist and EC-12 special education teacher.
I have two daughters that attend school in the district. They keep me busy playing a variety of sports including basketball, softball, volleyball and karate. Anytime I'm not teaching you can find me at a sporting event!
I encourage all parents to message me with any questions concerning assignments or student progress. I will be available for tutoring after school Monday and Wednesday or upon request. Please refer to this webpage for upcoming important dates. I look forward to a successful year and getting to know each student!
