Principal's Message
Dear Bullpup Families,
Welcome to La Porte Junior High School. Whether your child is new to LPJ or a returning student, we are proud to have them here. We have an extremely talented and committed staff. Our teachers are dedicated to their students and work hard to help them reach their greatest potential. We are excited about the remarkable possibilities of this school year.
When searching for the right theme to continue the work this school community has built of high expectations for all students and a shared responsibility of creating a school culture of excellence, three words stood out to us – Honor Your Impact.
What does it mean to honor your impact? It means your actions make a difference. YOU make a difference. YOU have an impact on our school, teachers, families, community, and each other. LPJ is committed to guiding our students to their impact on the world.
We appreciate and cherish our partnership with you and want you to know that our doors are always open to any questions or concerns that you may want to discuss. Feel free to contact us at any time.
As we enter the new school year, we must honor our impact! Whether you are a student, parent, family member, community member or staff, YOU MATTER!
Sincerely,
Rachel McAdam
Principal
